Another Cheyenne Frontier Days has come and gone, and what a ten days it was. As Wyoming’s capital city filled with rodeo fans, parade watchers, and pancake breakfast regulars, Little America Cheyenne was right in the middle of it all, and it was one of our busiest, liveliest CFD weeks yet.
A Week Full of Energy
From the opening weekend through the final Sunday, our hotel was buzzing. Guests arrived in boots and hats, ready for a week of rodeo action downtown, and our rooms filled up night after night as the celebration carried on. Several nights sold out completely, and the energy on the property matched the excitement in the arena. There is something special about watching a hotel come alive around a hometown event like this one, and this year did not disappoint.
Hathaway’s BBQ Takes Center Stage
No Frontier Days stay is complete without a stop at Hathaway’s Restaurant, and this year our CFD BBQ menu was a highlight for guests all week long. The Chef’s Ribeye emerged as the clear favorite, with the Smoked Brisket close behind. Between those two standouts and our other steak offerings, including New York Strip, Buffalo Ribeye, and Prime Rib, our kitchen team kept the plates coming all week for guests looking to refuel after a day at the rodeo. Sunday Brunch also saw a strong turnout, giving guests a relaxed way to start the day before heading back into the celebration.
A Team That Showed Up
Cheyenne Frontier Days asks a lot of a hotel team, and ours rose to the occasion. Guests took the time to recognize housekeeping for spotless, well cared for rooms throughout their stay, with more than one guest calling their room the cleanest they had experienced. Front desk and guest services teams were praised for warm, welcoming check-ins, even during one of the year’s busiest stretches. And our restaurant and banquet teams kept the food and drinks flowing through packed dining rooms and back-to-back events. It takes a lot of coordinated effort to pull off a week like this, and this year’s team did it with the same made-from-scratch hospitality Little America Cheyenne is known for.
Already Looking Ahead
With this year’s Frontier Days behind us, we are already looking forward to next July. A number of guests booked their stay for next year’s celebration before they even checked out, a good sign that Cheyenne Frontier Days keeps bringing people back. Whether you made it out this year or are already planning for next, Little America Cheyenne will be ready to welcome you home when the Daddy of ’em All rolls around again.
