Dinner & Late Night

Supper Under Wyoming Skies

As the sun sets, the celebration keeps going with BBQ on the Patio, your spot for a laid-back dinner outdoors under the wide-open Wyoming sky, featuring slow-cooked favorites like ribeye, salmon, BBQ chicken, and burgers, best enjoyed with the whole family in tow. When the night calls for something more, Hathaway's Lounge is the place to be, with live music, good drinks, and even better company, keeping the CFD spirit going long after the events of the day wind down and the Frontier Nights concerts take their final bow.

The Rodeo

At the heart of Cheyenne Frontier Days is the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association rodeo, held daily throughout the festival. Top competitors converge on Frontier Park to compete in bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, bull riding, barrel racing, steer wrestling, team roping, calf roping, and breakaway roping, with more than a million dollars in prize money on the line.

Frontier Nights Concert

Frontier Nights

Cheyenne Frontier Days may be known primarily for its massive rodeo, but the legendary concert series, Frontier Nights, is equally exciting. Each evening, some of the biggest names in country music take the stage under the Wyoming sky, including Brooks & Dunn, Cody Johnson, Luke Bryan, Megan Moroney, and many more. Tickets sell quickly, so booking early is recommended.

Beyond the Rodeo

The rodeo and Frontier Nights are headliners, but Cheyenne Frontier Days packs plenty more into its ten days. The Grand Parade winds through downtown multiple times, with floats, marching bands, horses, and Western regalia. Old Frontier Town brings the Old West to life with craftspeople, artisans, and Native American dance performances. Pancake breakfasts round out the traditions.
