Luckily, there’s a more wallet-friendly, less populated alternative to consider. Cheyenne, Wyoming is an approximately 65,000-person city that, in many ways, has a similar appeal to Nashville.

It only took us around forty minutes to make it to Little America Hotel & Resort, where we’ve been lucky to have stayed several times. The conference hotel features multiple buildings, a restaurant, a coffee shop, a store and lounge. It’s especially fun during Cheyenne Frontier Days. Nightly live music in the bar welcomes happy fairgoers for one or two last drinks and a twirl around the dance floor before going to bed.
