For the Spring Wedding:
Spring represents new life and romance, so getting married during this time of year means you can start off the year with a new life with your spouse. As the flowers begin to bloom again and life is breathed back into the world, couples getting married at Little America in the spring are guaranteed a picturesque background, whether they get married in one of our banquet spaces or on our North or East Lawn.
One of the most appealing reasons to eye a springtime wedding date is that there is generally more availability for a space at Little America, giving couples more options for potential dates and spaces all over the property, both inside and out.
With the Little America wedding packages, couples do not need to worry about the small details, such as getting tables, chairs, and linens ready for their big day. Our catering staff works with our banquet team to ensure decorations are placed and that our chef prepares something delicious for their guests, whether it’s a plated meal or heavy hors d’oeuvres. Our staff is dedicated to details, both big and small, so couples never need to stress that their wedding setup will look anything less than perfect.
Once your ceremony is complete and the wedding party is taking pictures, guests can partake in cocktail hour, either in one of our banquet spaces with a bartender or inside Hathaway’s Lounge, which features a gorgeous interior and a comforting atmosphere.
When the reception begins, couples can dance the night away – as we offer a large dance floor and plenty of power for a DJ to turn your wedding into a dance party.
For the Summer Wedding:
If a couple is looking for gorgeous, warm weather and a more laid-back vibe, then getting married in the summer is the prime time for them.
At Little America Hotel & Resort, couples have more amenities available to them when getting married in the summer. Brides and their wedding party can spend their free time relaxing by the pool and getting a perfectly sunkissed tan in time for their big day, while grooms have the opportunity to take the boys out and play a round of golf (or two) either before or after the ceremony. If you have guests coming in from out of town, Little America has every amenity to keep them comfortable while they spend time on the property.
Couples who decide to marry in the summer at Little America can also choose to host a Sunday brunch or their rehearsal dinner on our patio space, just steps outside of Hathaway’s Restaurant. Our Sunday brunch buffet features delectable items (such as French toast, breakfast meats, and carving stations), while our chef’s choice rehearsal dinners will leave every guest feeling satisfied. Whether it’s breakfast or dinner, dining on the patio is an unforgettable experience in one of the most picturesque spaces on our property.
With our landscaping in full bloom, couples who choose Little America Hotel & Resort as their summer wedding destination will take in 80 acres of beautiful, wide-open Wyoming spaces. They can choose to either be married outside, in the luscious green North or East Lawns or inside one of our stunning ballrooms or banquet spaces. Our giant picture windows in the Grand Ballroom give a magnificent display of the property and the landscaping surrounding it.
For the Fall Wedding:
Fall has become one of the most popular times for couples to get married, due to the amazing weather and the gorgeous fall colors.
Being in Wyoming, fall is one of the best times of the year to get married, since the state sees warm (but not hot) temperatures, less wind, and those aforementioned beautiful reds, oranges, and yellows of fall. Fall generally has the best weather of the year in Wyoming, making it an ideal time for weddings.
However, the only downside to fall being so popular is that space and dates are limited, meaning you should start looking into spaces for this time of year right now if you still need to.
Like in the spring and summer, couples have the option of holding their ceremony either inside or out.
For the Winter Wedding:
Winter is not the typical time to have a wedding, which makes it an even better time to do so. The regular snowfall in Wyoming makes for a winter wonderland-like effect for your wedding photos, allowing the couple to truly stand out among the pure white snow.
Our grounds team takes special care to decorate the property for the holiday season, which means couples that marry at Little America in the wintertime will also have beautiful, colorful lights illuminating their way into and out of the building.
There are also wonderful holiday decorations placed across the property, from magnificent Christmas trees to human-sized nutcrackers, that will delight couples and their guests. Little America provides winter-themed centerpieces for couples who book their receptions during this time of year, meaning one fewer thing for them to worry about.
Like with the spring, availability is more open in the wintertime for weddings, allowing couples to select the perfect date and space for their matrimonial needs.
