Executive Chef -- Scott Whitfield

Chef Scott Whitfield brings more than 25 years of culinary experience to his position at Little America Hotel & Resort. Chef Whitfield joined the Little America team in April of 2015 moving to Cheyenne from Las Vegas where he worked most recently for Gold Coast Hotel & Casino as the Room Chef.

Chef Whitfield has experience working for many hotels, casinos and restaurants including most recently in Las Vegas where he worked at Tropicana Laughlin Hotel & Casino as the Assistant Executive Chef; Sous Chef at Red Rock Hotel & Casino; Room Chef at Bally’s Hotel & Casino; Room Chef and Sous Chef at Rio Hotel & Casino. He started his career in New York City working for the New York Athletic Club as a Chef de Tourant; Fresco Restaurant as a Line Cook and Oceana for the famous Executive Chef Rick Moonen as Saucier.

Graduating from Johnson & Wales in Culinary Arts and Food Management, Chef Whitfield continues to be passionate about his food and committed with his staff in creating unforgettable culinary experiences. He is dedicated to teaching his craft and has worked with local high school students in Cheyenne to share knowledge and give them a taste of culinary life.

When not running the kitchen, Chef enjoys going to the gym, mixed martial arts, watching his favorite New York teams and the occasional glass of wine.
