Cheyenne Frontier Days
July 19 - 28, 2013
Since 1897, Cheyenne Frontier Days has been bringing crowds to their feet with wild rides and many other attractions. From the very first, Frontier Days has drawn famous personalities to the rodeo—Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show performed for a cheering crowd of 6,000 at the 1898 event. And in recent history, Cheyenne Frontier Days has been a favorite spot for Hollywood stars who want to be a part of the true “Wild West.”
The Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo is famous for its fast pace and huge number of contestants. Visitors can see more rodeo action in one day—over 40 bucking bulls and over 70 saddle and bareback broncos in each performance—than at any other rodeo.
The ten-day event also offers entertainment by some of the biggest names in music, a huge carnival and midway, free pancake breakfasts that attract tens of thousands of hungry visitors, colorful demonstrations of Native American arts and culture, and a world-class art show and sale.
